Prodeco
bikes will be raising many prices starting at the beginning of the 2013 model
year. Prices on the Mariner 7, the Stride
500, the entire Phantom line, the Genesis 250, the Stride 250, the Stride 300, and
the Storm 300 will increase by $100.
These are primarily “catch up” price increases on bikes that were underpriced
all along. The most major difference
will be a slightly modified rack, which we have arranged to make available to purchasers
of our 2012 models.
What
we have been telling our customers since day one was that Prodeco was
essentially selling their bikes at cost so they could build market share. Now
they have decided to give themselves a better deal. The overwhelming demand for their products
gives them that opportunity in 2013.
Still,
Prodeco continues to offer far more value than any electric bike manufacturer
by many, many hundreds of dollars.
One
other change will be to the Stride 500 line.
As it stands, the black Stride 500 with a 9 amp battery is set at a very
reasonable price for $1,299 and that will continue to remain the same. For $1,499, you will be able to buy a
pearlescent white Stride 500 with a 12 amp power battery and improved shock
absorbers. This addition to the Stride line speaks right to our customers, who
have made the Stride our second best selling model. We have had many customers
wanting more range and a brighter color, and this new Stride delivers. We can’t
wait to get our hands on them!
Aside from the existing product lines, Prodeco is releasing the highly-anticipated Outlaw electric bicycle. This machine will have a 750 watt motor, allowing the bike to reach speeds of 28 mph without pedaling, or be set to the street legal speed of 20 mph, and is accompanied with a 48 volt LiFePO4 battery. The Outlaw includes truly enormous shock absorbers and has many high-end components which, combined with the 33% increase in power, make its price of $2,199 a bargain as well.

The
2013 price increases primarily represent price catch-ups, as well as financing
of Prodeco’s new large factory, which will eliminate 2012’s supply bottlenecks
for good.
Prodeco
is still the best bargain out there, both price and warranty. Each bike comes with a two-year warranty on
all of the electronics accompanied by a life-time warranty on the frame. hey
stand behind their products.
You can find more information about the new 2013 product manual HERE. Not only will these bikes be a great addition to a new, eco-friendly lifestyle, but it can also be that thoughtful gift to give during the Holiday season. We are fortunate to have stocked up on most of the 2012 models, at 2012 prices, because we anticipated these price increases. So, come in while these bargains are still here!!
