Packages

Because we actually take possession of the bikes we sell on the internet, we have the opportunity to package and install the most popular of our accessory options at marked down prices. We do this in four packages:

SOUND AND LIGHT, which adds the best front and rear lighting and reflecting money can buy, Kevlar belted tires, and a horn that can be heard about 100 times further away than the "tinkle tinkle" of the bell, and metal bolt-on fenders.

  • Light & Motion (http://www.lightandmotion.com) Urban 300 commuter light with optional helmet fitting
  • Internal lithium battery (no clunky bolt-ons!)
  • Light & Motion VS180 rear light
  • Front and back LED wheel reflectors
  • Air-powered horn
  • Kevlar Tires
  • Planet Bike bolt-on fenders

SOUND & LIGHT (MARINER), is the same as Sound & Light, except it does not have Kevlar Tires or Planet Bike bolt-on fenders due to the lack of availability of those items for 20 inch wheels.  The other difference is the package is $110 less as set forth below.

ULTRA HIGH PERFORMANCE, which gives you 9 speeds instead of 7 for 18% higher top speed and 22% greater hill climbing ability, superior derailleur components throughout, a water bottle holder (and a specially designed water bottle), and pedals built to optionally accommodate clip-in shoes, and also Kevlar belted tires and metal bolt on fenders

PERFORMANCE, which upgrades the standard 7 speed cassette to one which permits power pedaling at 18% higher speeds and all of the other components included in Ultra High Performance, except the 9 speed Deore level cassette, shifter, and derailleurs.

ULTIMATE, which combines all of the above. Because we already have your bike up on the stand, we can install these accessories economically, which saves money, and helps us discount the packages.

Performance adds $199 to the price, Sound and Light adds $369.99, Sound & Light (Mariner) $259.99, and Ultra High Performance $399.99. Even the Ultimate is only $664.99, still less than the least expensive of its legitimate competitors without even minimal accessories, and most of whom continue to utilize a significantly inferior battery.  The Phantom X2 with the Ultimate Package cannot be matched for $3500.  If you find something that does, let us know.
